AnnaBusiness Events Adelaide has announced that Australian Hotels Association (SA) Chief Executive Officer Anna Moeller has joined its Board as a Specialist Director.

Ms Moeller brings with her a strong background in the visitor economy and in member-based organisations, not only with the AHA but also from her time with the Motor Trade Association. A trained lawyer, Ms Moeller has also worked as a legal practitioner and is a former elected Councillor for the City of Charles Sturt.

Business Events Adelaide Chair Ian Horne said, “We are extremely pleased to add someone of Anna’s calibre to our Board. We believe her skill set will complement those of the current Directors, and Anna’s industry knowledge and political connectivity are major attributes. Business events are now rightly seen as the economic powerhouse that they are, delivering to the State both in the short term and in the economic tail of lasting benefits, however we are first and foremost a membership organisation. Anna’s experience makes her a great fit for Business Events Adelaide and I look forward to welcoming her to our Board discussions.”

Ms Moeller said “I am delighted to be joining the Board of Business Events Adelaide at such an exciting time. I have always been impressed with their ‘Team Adelaide’ ethos and the work that they do in positioning our city as a unique business event destination both domestically and overseas. I am looking forward to contributing to Business Events Adelaide ongoing success.”

Ms Moeller commenced her tenure in February 2025, completing Business Events Adelaide’s eight-person volunteer Board.
