Business Events Adelaide has updated its Planners Guide, the comprehensive directory of Adelaide’s premium venues and services used by business event organisers worldwide.

The 2025 Planners Guide builds on last year’s design, with a fly-through of Adelaide’s innovation, cultural and business event precincts integrated with member venues, helping overseas visitors understand the connectedness of the city. Sample itineraries for corporate incentive groups, an overview of South Australia’s key industry sectors and details of Adelaide’s sustainability credentials are also included in the fully online, interactive production.

Business Events Adelaide Chief Executive Officer Damien Kitto said “The Planners Guide has been a staple for 17 years, and the number of business event organisers that access it more than once demonstrate its effectiveness. We distribute the Guide directly to more than 6,000 people globally, but we know that so many more find it on our website and use it to make enquiries or click through to our member’s websites. This makes the Guide a powerful and influential tool for business event organisers who are unfamiliar with our city.”

The Guide helps organisers with their choice of the high-quality accommodation, restaurants, world class wine regions and experiences on offer in South Australia, and Mr Kitto noted that the number of members advertising in the Planners Guide was increasing year on year. “This low cost, high yield promotion to an engaged audience is clearly something that our members value and helps to demonstrate that Adelaide is a destination full of high-quality venues to suit all budgets,” he said. “After all, why wouldn’t you want to showcase your business to the world?”

The 2025 Planners Guide is available on Business Events Adelaide’s website.

The business event sector is worth more than $2.5bn to SA.
