Business Events Adelaide has launched its 2026 Planners Guide, introducing a built-in AI Agent that allows business event organisers to explore Adelaide’s venues, precincts and services through real-time, guided planning support.
Designed to help planners coming to - or considering - Adelaide make confident, informed decisions, the AI Agent acts as a digital concierge - responding to questions, recommending venues and services and helping organisers understand how Adelaide’s compact, connected city delivers effective and high-quality events.
The fully online, interactive Guide brings together Adelaide’s business event infrastructure, premium venues and experiences in one intelligent platform. It also includes insights into South Australia’s priority industry sectors and a clear overview of Adelaide’s sustainability credentials, supporting organisers to align business events with economic, social and knowledge legacy outcomes.
Business Events Adelaide Chief Executive Officer Damien Kitto said the introduction of AI fundamentally changes how planners engage with the destination. “The 2026 Planners Guide goes beyond being a directory - it’s an active planning tool. The built-in AI Agent allows organisers to interact with Adelaide in a way that simply hasn’t been possible before, guiding them through options, answering questions instantly and helping them visualise how an event would come together here,” Mr Kitto said. “For international planners especially, this removes friction, builds confidence and accelerates the path from inspiration to enquiry.”
The Planners Guide is distributed directly to more than 6,000 business event decision-makers worldwide and can also be accessed through Business Events Adelaide’s website.
