Australian Institute for Machine Learning (AIML)
AIML conducts globally competitive research and development in artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, computer vision and deep learning. With over 200 researchers, engineers and students, AIML is the largest university-based research group in machine learning in Australia. Key capabilities include machine learning (including medical), robotic vision, trusted autonomous systems, surveillance & tracking and photogrammetry & 3D modelling.

The Australian Cyber Collaboration Centre (Aus3C)
Aus3C is leading the charge for a resilient and thriving digital future, bringing together world-class experts, organisations, and cutting-edge resources to address the ever-evolving challenges of cybersecurity with innovative, collaborative solutions.
Aus3C works with individuals and small to medium businesses (SMBs) to build skills and capabilities to raise cyber resilience and confidence to fully realise the benefits of digitisation. It also assists large enterprises and critical infrastructure providers to grow sovereign capability, enhance knowledge and build collaboration pathways to better protect our economy.

The Australian Space Agency (ASA)
Established in 2018 to coordinate civil space matters across Government and support the growth and transformation of Australia’s space industry, the ASA is headquartered at Lot Fourteen.
The ASA is the heart of space in Australia and provides technical expertise and direction, international engagement, funding opportunities, policy advice to Government, regulation of Australian space activities and initiatives to inspire the nation and build a future space workforce.
The ASA also houses the Australian Space Discovery Centre, enabling visitors to explore the latest in space technology. Featuring over 20 exhibits, an interactive space gallery and a theatrette that hosts a range of space-related events and activities, entry is free for all visitors.

QuantX
From a flagship Cyroclock that can deliver the world’s purest output signals for military radar, to sensors that can detect enemy submarines, QuantX is pushing the boundaries in its field. Its groundbreaking technology, developed in partnership with defence industry and the University of Adelaide has seen the company grow its workforce 50 per cent year-on-year since being founded in 2017. -
Clevertar
A relatively new resident of the Stone & Chalk Startup Hub at Lot Fourteen, through a partnership with MATE telecom, Clevertar’s AI agents are now available in over 160 Officeworks stores across Australia. Clevertar also recently secured a contract with the Australian Bureau of Statistics to support Australians via the 2026 Census website. -
entX Limited
Through its nuclear medicine business IsoMedica, Adelaide clean technology company entX Limited is developing technologies to feed the booming demand for medical isotopes amid ongoing geopolitical disruption to global supply chains.
IsoMedica’s process to isolate thorium-228 from naturally occurring radioactive materials found in soil and rocks, provides non-reactor based thorium-228 that only a handful of specialised reactors can otherwise produce.

Innovation Centre
A dedicated $100m Innovation Centre will soon be constructed at Lot Fourteen to house major companies including BAE Systems, along with a $60m Defence Technologies Academy, a $20m Space Assembly Integration and Testing Facility and a $20m Innovation Hub. With a tenancy pre-commitment of nearly 80%, the Innovation Centre will offer a dynamic hub for innovation and commercialisation of businesses in South Australia
